Erskine House Migration
In 2018 Delivery Services were awarded the contract to relocate over 2000 HMRC staff into their new Northern Ireland regional hub. The new Belfast City Centre facility incorporated 90% of the HMRC NI workforce and departments. In total 2070 staff migrated over the course of 2019 and into 2020. The migration coincided with the closure of 6 HMRC sites throughout Northern Ireland. The involved the relocation of approx. 5000 crates, IT and office furniture.
In addition to the staff moves the project included the complete clearance of each existing HMRC facility once vacated. A massive volume of work, including the complete dismantling and removal of all existing office furniture. These clearances were completed under tight time frames ensuring buildings could be handed back to the landlords by agreed dates.
All avenues/outlets for recycling were planned beforehand ensuring the most environmentally friendly recycling methods were used.
